The tournament raised $14,000 to benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. The event took place at the Ptarmigan Country Club and there were 128 participants.

In 2007, 138 people participated in this tournament and $18,000 was raised to benefit this important cause. Drahota would like to thank everyone for participating; raising money for a cure.

American Cancer Society

As the nation's largest private, not-for-profit source of funds for scientists studying cancer, the American Cancer Society (ACS) focuses its funding on investigator-initiated, peer-reviewed proposals. This process ensures that scientists propose projects that they believe are ready to be tackled with the available knowledge and techniques, rather than working on projects designed by administrators who are far removed from the front lines of research. This intellectual freedom encourages discovery in areas that scientists believe are most likely to solve the problems of cancer.

Relay for Life gives communities the power to help in the fight against cancer. By joining together as volunteers and donors, our efforts help the American Cancer Society strive toward a future where cancer won't take the lives of our friends and family.
