Team Building
Our internal project team includes the company’s CEO, Terry Drahota, project managers, project coordinators, accountants and field superintendents. At the beginning of a project, the client and selected subcontractors become integral parts of our team. Our construction team gains in-depth understanding of owner’s goals, design intent, system solutions, installation requirements of special systems and finishes and phasing requirements. Everyone commits to meeting the client’s stated business, financial goals and time schedule.
Cost Accounting
Sophisticated industry-specific accounting programs are used to develop budgets and track project costs. These programs provide clients with up-to-date, accurate reports detailing all project costs. Our philosophy is to conduct the procurement process entirely on an “open-book” fully integrated basis. Our intent is to keep the project team informed of the project's cost status at all times.
Professional Project Management
We oversee all project phases including budget, schedule, coordination of contract documents, and review of specifications and subcontractor bids and payments. One of the most important aspects to a successful project is effective subcontractor management. During the bidding phase, we help the subcontractor become familiar with our procedures and expectations for the work on the site. Drahota prequalifies our subcontractors and we have long term, well-established relationships with qualified trade contractors and material suppliers locally, in the Colorado region and on a national network, which translates to a cost effective project.
Expert Scheduling
Scheduling is one of the most essential elements of the building process. We combine time-honored experience with Primavera computer software to compose a precise schedule for each project. The schedule details every step of the construction process, from the time required to obtain a building permit to the dates for installing final finishes. We continually monitor and update the schedule throughout the duration of the project.
